Teamspirit, the UK’s leading fully integrated financial services agency, has announced its pro bono client for 2021- Credit Unions of Wales. A collaboration of 10 credit unions working to improve savings and access to affordable credit, the group is the first Welsh project that Teamspirit has supported.
Credit Unions of Wales’ mission is to provide everyone in Wales with access to ethical savings and the tools to build financial literacy while contributing to the prosperity, financial wellbeing and resilience of local communities. As a group of financial co-operatives, they aim to enable local social cohesion and economic development in its work.
Teamspirit will build a communications strategy geared towards Credit Unions of Wales’ target audiences and key stakeholders, as well as driving media awareness. The campaign will aim to broaden its reach to support more people in financial need with a focus on enhancing the financial wellbeing of employees, something that is vital in the wake of the pandemic.
As part of its ‘For The Better’ initiative, Teamspirit carefully selects one organisation every year that works to transform financial health for the better, and donates £10,000 of award-winning communications expertise, including strategy, creative, UX, social strategy, public relations and beyond.
Teamspirit received a number of high-quality entries from a range of companies undertaking incredible work across the country, including credit unions, building societies and ethical banks.

But there are so many more people that need our help, especially in the wake of the pandemic.
